Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team.
This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.
What You'll Do
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in elevating Janicki’s brand and supporting marketing initiatives across the company. You’ll collaborate with teams throughout the organization, create compelling content, and help ensure our messaging is consistent, polished, and aligned with our mission.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Partner with internal teams to create and update brochures, presentations, ads, and other marketing collateral
- Maintain and distribute current marketing materials across the organization
- Develop, update, and manage content for social media channels and the corporate website
- Ensure brand accuracy and consistency across digital platforms, sales materials, and internal documents
- Support planning and execution of marketing events, tradeshows, and employee engagement activities
- Contribute to internal communications, including our quarterly employee newsletter
- Manage promotional inventory such as branded apparel, tradeshow giveaways, and customer gifts
- Capture and organize photography of projects, products, and processes—including cataloging, editing, and securing usage permissions
- Coordinate facility displays, signage, and visual branding elements
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Perform additional marketing support duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required with a minimum of two years of marketing or related experience. Candidates with further education in marketing, communications, business, digital media, or related fields are encouraged to apply. A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere) and Microsoft Office
- Experience managing social media channels and supporting paid social campaigns
- Working knowledge of SEM, SEO, and Google Analytics
- Strong writing and editing skills, with familiarity in AP style
- Ability to manage projects independently and drive initiatives forward
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Photography and videography experience is a plus
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Wage range for this role is between $30 - $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
